found his forever home in the Carson Valley when he arrived in 1982 from Toronto, Canada. Having lived in many places around the world, he fell in love with the Valley and saw it as the perfect place to raise his children. In 1984, he founded Drago’ Salon in the basement of Carson Valley Inn, and by May 1, 1986 he proudly moved into our current location which he had renovated himself. Driven by a vision to infuse quality, class, and sophistication into the community, he cultivated a culture of excellence through education and passion for his craft. Every step was fueled by his deep love for his family and community, leaving an incredible mark on the Carson Valley.  This establishment attracted many talented professionals over the years including Michele Peters.

 

Michele, born and raised in our valley, started working for Drago as a receptionist in 2005 while she was still in high school. Drago and Michele have continually shared the same values of excellence and desire to create top notch experiences and services for all guests to enjoy. In 2021, after years of working side by side with Drago, Michele was honored by the opportunity to purchase Drago’ Salon to carry on the legacy of quality Drago built in his 40+ years behind the chair. Nectar Beauty Collective was born because of all these principles Drago instilled in so many of us over the years. We are committed to taking this already valuable and loved establishment and making it even sweeter.
